In classrooms, in concert

Dave Revels shaking hands with Lt. Gen. Russel Honore as Maj. Gen. Harold Cross, Mississippi adjutant Gen. looks on. The event was a free concert organized by Dave and the MWR held at Camp Shelby in Hattiesburg, Mississippi in honor of troops preparing to deploy to Iraq.

 

 

 

 

What's Dave Up to Now


 

Currently, Dave is working with the Kings of a capella, The Persuasions. He was the arranger and co-producer on their CVHesky Records CD "The Persuasions Sings U2." He is also producing  Musical tribute shows featuring the music of 60's and 70's rock as well as Motown shows. On his ongoing partnership with educators Dave founded an arts-in-education program entitled "Shake, Rattle 'N' Roll, an allstar tribute to the legends of American Rock and Roll. The live band presentation features musicians and singers who have performed with such legendary artists as Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Del Shannon, Chubby Checker, The Drifters, Jerry Lee Lewis, Blues guitarist Johnny Winter and many more.

 In 2008 Dave co-produced and arranged the Persuasions backing vocals on two tracks on Rat Dog's Mark Karan's CD with Mark.

Currently Dave is arranging and producing the Persuasion on two J.J. Cale songs "Travelin' Light" and "I'll Make Love To You Any Old Time," for a compilation CD paying tribute to the singer/wongwriter.
