 Check out Dave's latest project on Chesky Records. Dave arranged and co-produced the Persuasions CD "The Persuasions Sings U2" featuring the music of the Rock group U2. Dave also sang several leads on the CD as well. The album released in September of 2005 has received critical acclaim.

A capella group The Persuasions. I was invited to participate vocally on the album. In addition to singing on all the
songs I was featured on the song ‘Octopus Garden,’ doing a whistling solo. My friendship with the group goes back thirty years when I first met the groups’ tenor Jayotis Washington. It had always been a dream of mine to perform with this group and as fate would have it, my dream came true. I have a lot of respect for this group, especially the talents of its lead singer and personality, Jerry Lawson. Working with him on this album I was impressed with his concepts of vocal arranging and soulful and rootsy singing style. His voice is definitely attached to his soul and with every note he sings you can feel his sincerity come through loud and clear. It was an honor.
