Military Appreciation Night, sponsored by Dave Revels and the Stand Up America Good Will Tour at Shea Stadium in New York City August 7, 2005
The event paid tribute to the men and women of our armed forces and was organized by Dave Revels with the cooperation and assistance of the New York Mets Baseball organization and Major League baseball, without whom it would have not been possible. Over three hundred troops attended from all branches of the Military as guests of the Stand Up America Good Will Tour. The night was capped off with a big win by the Mets over the Chicago Cubs in front of 40,000+ fans!

Dave was given the honor of performing 'GOD BLESS AMERICA' during the 7th inning stretch.

In a joint effort by the military, the MWR (Morale, Welfare and Recreation) And the groups themselves, fun was had by all at this free concert. Special recognition goes out to Scott and Joe from the USAED special events Division. Without their tireless commitment, the concert would not have been possible.

At another free concert, put on by the groups especially for the troops and their families, this time at The Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Aberdeen, Maryland,  this great layout and article was put together by the  Post's  newspaper.
